Our Story

A decade of friendship, travel, and love.

Jesse and I have shared an incredible journey over the past decade. Dating for ten years and engaged for two, we're excited to be getting married on our 11th dating anniversary. Our passion for travel has taken us across the world, where we've immersed ourselves in diverse cultures and discovered new perspectives. Along the way, we've built meaningful friendships and cherished memories that have shaped who we are today. Whether we're exploring cities or unwinding on remote beaches, our love for adventure—and each other—keeps growing stronger.

Our story begins down under in Australia, where we both "studied" abroad at the University of Wollongong. After some questionable grades, a failed class, countless drinks, laughs, and days at the beach, we each left the country with much more love than when we arrived.

A year of long distance and graduations! Jesse from CU, and I from UMASS Amherst. This is the year we took the infamous axe camping trip!

In 2016, we lived and traveled all around the north island of New Zealand. Jesse tinted car windows and I was a substitute pre-school teacher.

In 2016, we lived and traveled all around the north island of New Zealand. Jesse tinted car windows and I was a substitute pre-school teacher.
After New Zealand, we spent months traveling in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. We even took a layover in China to walk on The Great Wall! Shout out to Ted for being our travel buddy.

After 2 years, I was finally ready to go camping again... so in 2017 we moved to Colorado together for the first time, making Denver our home.

This year we both went back to school and changed careers. I became a UX Designer and Jesse became a Software Engineer.

After 8 years, Jesse proposed to me in Mexico City. We were on vacation with our best friends (aka family): Sam & Hannah, Ryan & Abby. Jesse lined our AirBnB with roses and proposed on the balcony to one of our favorite songs. We spent the entire vacation celebrating and eating tacos, of course!

Introducing Uncle Jesse & Aunt Cole! Sam & Hannah had Ava, making us an aunt and uncle for the very first time.
This year has already been full of vacations and beautiful weddings! Jesse took me to Europe for the first time, where we spent a winter vacation arm-in-arm exploring the Netherlands and Belgium. Our friend's weddings will take us to Banff and Portugal! We look forward to planning our wedding the rest of this year.
